Just a short drive from the Ronald Regan Presidential Library, Hollywood and downtown L.A., Morton’s The Steakhouse, Woodland Hills sits nestled in the heart of the San Fernando Valley in the Warner Center, promising a memorable dining experience steps away from coveted shopping destinations like the Westfield Topanga Plaza and Promenade. As an upscale chain serving aged prime beef, seafood and other traditional steakhouse fare in what’s often been called a “clubby space,” Morton’s has become a go-to destination for dinner what with its extensive wine collections, the finest USDA prime and dry-aged steaks, regionally-exclusive dishes and decadent desserts – and the Woodland Hills location has just turned up the heat on the grill even further.

From September 17 to 28, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Woodland Hills is offering a Tomahawk Feast for Two, enabling romantic beef lovers from around the Valley to savor the rich flavors of the restaurant’s 36-ounce Tomahawk Ribeye and more. For $159, the meal includes the choice of a Classic Caesar Salad, Morton’s Iceberg Wedge Salad, Chopped Salad or Tomato Caprese Salad; the 36-ounce Tomahawk Ribeye with au jus and roasted shallots; choice of two sauce or butter toppers and two sides including Creamed Spinach, Parmesan and Truffle Matchstick Fries, Brussel Sprouts, Baked Corn Soufflé and Smoked Gouda Au Gratin Potatoes.

A cold water lobster tail or two mini crab cakes are available for $19 and $10 extra, respectively, as well as a Jumbo Lump Crab Imperial for $12. Additional accompaniments include Lobster Macaroni and Cheese for $19 and Lyonnaise Potatoes for $5.

Morton’s has grown to over 65 restaurants, yet the success equation remains the same today as it was when the first location opened in 1978 Chicago: Quality + Consistency + Genuine Hospitality = The Ultimate Steakhouse Experience. Driven by a desire to provide this genuine hospitality for both guests and its own employees, Morton’s offers a setting where people truly care about one another – and show it in everything they do – with this supreme level of respect and enthusiasm running through the entire organization manifesting in a number of ways.

What’s more, Morton’s achievements are not limited to the static four walls of its restaurants, what with the company’s culture committed to community service, both locally and nationally.

“To experience Morton’s The Steakhouse, Woodland Hills is to indulge in a delicious cornucopia of exclusive Los Angeles menu items, an award-winning wine list and exceptional hospitality…and that’s merely the tip of the iceberg,” says Morton’s Woodland Hills general manager Shannon Antrim. “This Tomahawk Feast for Two represents everything that defines the ultimate Morton’s meal, from the mouthwatering 36-ounce main event to the crisp salads, savory steak toppers, delectable side dishes and available upgrades.

“We welcome all our Woodland Hills neighbors and friends to a romantic evening for two, complete with a seductive, intimate backdrop and mouthwatering cuisine.”

Co-founded in 1978 by Arnold J. Morton and Klaus Fritsch, Morton’s The Steakhouse, as it is known today, traces its roots back to these two colleagues working together at the Playboy Club in Montreal, Canada, where Fritsch prepared a humble hamburger for Morton to sample while the venue was in the midst of a menu change. The rest, as they say, is history, with Morton being so smitten by Fritsch’s creation that the two of them opened Morton’s of Chicago in Newberry Plaza in the city’s downtown area. By 1987, Morton’s boasted nine restaurants throughout the U.S., and what began in the Windy City in ’78 is now one of the most award-winning steakhouses in the restaurant industry.

“For over 30 years, Morton’s The Steakhouse has been on a mission to provide ‘The Best Steak…Anywhere!’ while focusing on quality, consistency and genuine hospitality,” concludes Antrim. “Our Woodland Hills location seeks to provide not only memorable cuisine, but a memorable overall experience as well. With impeccable steaks, seafood and wines, it’s no surprise Morton’s Woodland Hills has thrilled diners from all over the SoCal region – and even visitors from around the world.

“A glimpse of a higher standard of steakhouse is only a reservation away.”
