Whether you decided to finally go out with someone you swiped right with on tinder, or you and your significant other want to have a romantic night out on the town, here’s a list of some local gems to take your sweetheart to.

Brandywine

So you want to take your special someone out, and I mean OUT. You are both getting dressed up and you want 5 star service within the Woodland Hills area code. Brandywine is the place to go. This small, romantic French restaurant off Ventura Boulevard has been claimed by many as many one of the best places in town. Their food is impeccable and the ambiance is old fashioned and quaint. This restaurant is the priciest one on the list, but everyone has claimed it was completely worth it. It’ll be a romantic (and delicious) evening the two of you won’t soon forget.

Villa

So maybe spending over $100 on dinner doesn’t suit your fancy, but you want something equally as romantic, the Villa might be your next favorite date night spot. With their gorgeous building and fantastic vine garden patio, there’s no bad place to be seated. If you still want that French cuisine for date night, this would be another great spot. They also offer an amazing brunch if you want to turn date night into a breakfast date.

Paoli’s Pizzeria & Piano Bar

Maybe this is your first date with this person and you don’t want to scare them away with an incredibly dressy night out. Maybe your date just prefers to live in t shirts and jeans. Either way, Paoli’s is a safe bet for a fun, casual evening out.  Their deep dish pizza is to die for, the walls are covered with photos of happy guests and eclectic décor, and they have a full swing karaoke scene. Whether you decide to grab the mike or not, the two of you will be sure to have a grand ol’ time.

Something’s Fishy

Want to go for something a little more exotic for date night? If you’ve never been to a teppan grill before you are in for a lovely surprise. Something’s Fishy not only cooks your food right in front of you, but the chefs are equally as talented with their cookware to put on a show. If you make it in before 6pm, you’ll get the early bird special, which makes the experience that much sweeter. Between the amazing food and the spatula and egg juggling (I’m serious. You have to see this.) , Something’s Fishy will easily become your new favorite place for a special night out.

The White Harte Pub

The White Harte Pub is definitely the place to bring your date if they are a beer connoisseur. Besides their adorably rustic and cozy atmosphere with their fireplace and antler décor, they also have a wonderful back patio where they host events throughout the week like Monday night movie nights, trivia on Tuesdays, Karaoke Wednesdays and live bands on Saturday evenings. Whatever night you decide to go out on, White Harte will provide some causal fun with excellent beer and English fare.
