Los Angeles has a – well-deserved, in our opinion – reputation as the land of probiotic thermal shakes from the moon, farro power bowls and kale salads, but unbeknownst to many, there’s also something else this town does better than most: burgers.

From famous chains like In-N-Out and old-school Valley shacks to schmancy-fancy truffle patty joints, there’s something for every burger fan in the City of Angels, and there’s no denying Woodland Hills knows its way around this culinary landscape. We’ve scoured the town looking for what we feel are the best burger spots, so worry about getting back on the treadmill and eating goji berries tomorrow.

Boulevard Burgers, located at 21718 Ventura Boulevard, serves what is considered one of the best burgers in the Valley, in addition to fan-favorite pastrami, grilled chicken and even breakfast. Though you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, you have to try Boulevard’s crunchy onion rings and crispy fries – but regardless of what you go with, you’ll be charmed by this mom-n-pop-esque spot where the food is freshly made to order…and that freshness can be tasted in all their ingredients. There’s a small indoor seating area and plenty of outdoor seating in the front and back.

Believe it or not, Los Angeles is at the center of America’s burger obsession, with the “few-frills” food done up in countless ways from the beachy towns of the South Bay to the heart of Woodland Hills’ chef-driven culinary movement. Born from the nation’s infatuation with beef coupled with the modern highway system, the humble burger can be high-end or low, and these aforementioned selections have you covered in Woodland Hills when the “moooood” strikes.
