Collector’s Paradise, located at 7131 Winnetka Avenue in Winnetka, opened its doors in September of 1994 when Edward Greenberg and Joseph Zeilich bought a comic bookstore called Little Angel’s Comics. For the next few years, the two partners tried to refocus the business model of the old store and hone in on comic collecting, the emerging graphic novel category and customer service. Fast-forward to the early 2000s when the store’s goals were again reevaluated to include an online presence and a continuation of refining the online customer services, encompassing a custom-created Online Subscription Management software application. In the last nearly 30 years, Collector’s Paradise has been honored many times over with the title of “Best Comic Book Store in Los Angeles County” by a Fan Poll completed by the LA Hot List while going on to boast one of the largest libraries of graphic novels in Southern California. Open Monday and Tuesday from 11 am to 6 pm, Wednesday from 11 am to 8 pm, Thursday through Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm, and Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm.
