On September 29, America’s largest independent retailer of fine wines, spirits and beers, Total Wine & More, opened a new location in Woodland Hills, California, expanding the company’s presence in the greater Los Angeles area amidst a whirlwind of anticipation. The new shop, located at 6232 Topanga Canyon Boulevard Suite 1380, celebrated its grand opening in style with live music, free wine tastings, special giveaways and even celebrity appearances, and in kicking off its commitment to the local non-profit community, Total Wine & More partnered with theValley Cultural Center, donating 10-percent of all wine sales during opening weekend to the arts-centric organization.
Further, Total Wine & More has also partnered with Young Warriors, a mentoring program for boys between the ages of eight and 18 living in poverty, with Total Wine & More representatives announcing their intentions to make a “substantial donation” to the program. Young Warriors board member and NFL Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson made a special appearance to sign autographs at the Woodland Hills Total Wine & More grand opening on Thursday, September 29 at 6 pm.
