Summer is the time to go outside and have new experiences. The Valley Cultural Center in Woodland Hills hosts many concerts and movie showings at Warner Center Park. The 2014 concerts will be held on Sunday afternoons from June 1st through August 24th, while the outdoor movies will be shown on Saturday evenings from July 12th through August 23rd. These movies and concerts are completely family friendly and are open to all ages. Warner Center Park is a beautiful venue that is located in Woodland Hills at 5800 Topanga Canyon Boulevard.

Outdoor Summer Concerts

The “Concerts on the green” are amazing experiences that will keep you entertained for hours. Most summer concerts will start at 6 PM and end at 8 PM unless otherwise stated. This is the perfect place to go with your family as there are plenty of things to keep your kids engaged and happy. While the artists are performing, there are numerous food and drink stands that will keep everyone satisfied. Various artists perform at this venue including many tribute bands that allow you to re-experience music produced by artists such as The Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd, and Journey. Summer Movies on the Green

These outdoor movies are projected on a 30 foot screen with 7.1 surround sound that will allow all viewers great visuals and crisp audio. These movies will play at 10PM unless otherwise stated. Every movie is family friendly and appropriate for all ages. Some upcoming movies include Monsters University, Despicable Me 2, The Sandlot, and Frozen.  Not only is this experience amazing, but you will also save money as opposed to spending the overly inflated price of 11 dollars on a movie theater ticket.
