Woodland Hills’ Elite Dance and Performing Arts Center routinely over-delivers on its promise to provide students the very best – and most fun – dance classes they’ll ever experience.

There is perhaps no other studio-esque venue in all of L.A. that’s as seriously focused on the art of dance than Elite Dance and Performing Arts Center. Centrally located on Independence Avenue in Woodland Hills, Elite Dance and its team of seasoned professional trainers exude a passion for regularly fulfilling two primary goals: Providing an amazing experience for all its students and their families, and over-delivering on its promise to provide their students the very best – and most fun – dance classes they’ll ever experience. If the myriad of positive, glowing feedback from clients is any indication, Elite is most definitely acting on those passions and promises.

“At Elite Dance and Performing Arts Center, our mission is to provide every dancer with an inspiring, challenging and fun dance education,” says Elite Dance’s Toni Ricci, who has been studying dance for nearly 30 years, and who had made numerous television appearances and choreographed many events before being awarded Entrepreneur of the Year for Southern California by the California senate. “With our caring staff and professional instructors, we educate our dancers in a disciplined yet positive environment, the goal being to help each dancer reach their fullest potential artistically, athletically and personally.”

The beautiful dance studio situated at 6431 Independence Avenue in Woodland Hills immediately informs the first-time visitor of its serious approach to the arts with a lobby that’s warm and inviting for dancers, parents and family members, while scheduled class sessions offer a glimpse into Elite’s commitment to all age groups – all with the customer’s convenience and parents’ support in mind. The newly-remodeled Elite Dance and Performing Arts Center was designed for optimal dancer performance and guest comfort, boasting over 6,000 square-feet, four spacious studios, a parents’ lounge, dressing rooms, in-house dancewear store and more.

The state-of-the-art Studio A was constructed with 12-foot-high ceilings and brand-new marley sprung floors, a standard in professional studios around the globe. The floors spread across a formidable 790 square-feet and feature eight-feet-tall mirrors with over 65 feet of premium custom ballet barres. Studio B, meanwhile, boasts 20-foot-high ceilings and features mirrors across two walls with a professional Stage Step sprung wood floor, designed specifically for all dance styles. The studio is also equipped with over 65 feet of premium barre space and rigged with brand-new aerial silks.

Elite Dance’s Studio C boasts 390 square-feet and is used for private lessons and small classes, coming fully equipped with custom Rosco marley floors and floor-to-ceiling mirrors. The beautiful new Rehearsal Hall offers 1500 square-feet with 10-foot-high ceilings, professional sprung wood step floors and eight-foot-high mirrors – making it a perfect space for large rehearsals, auditions, shows, events and more.

Elite Dance and Performing Arts Center offers a class roster that encompasses Classes for Adults, Acro Dance, Aerial Arts, Ballet, Contemporary, Combo Classes, Hip-Hop, Jazz and Tap, while the Elite Dance Company, made up of over 50 committed dancers, perform at everything from school events and dance competitions to joint productions with other dance companies such as LAUNBOUND. The venue can even be rented out for birthday parties and other celebrations.

“The ability to introduce the love of something into a student’s life is a gift and a privilege, and at Elite Dance and Performing Arts Center, we take that responsibility seriously,” concludes Ricci. “Our dream is not just to teach students to dance – we want to teach them to love the art of dance. All dancers have a place here at Elite, and if they’re willing to learn, we’re more than passionate to teach.

“Our studios were specifically designed to provide a quality dance education with a team of professional instructors who are committed to inspiring, training and helping each student develop into the best dancer he or she can be.”
